Today at 12.15pm the media workshop was available to work in, Ben was fortunately free and took the duty to edit the rough cut in the absence of our group. I had to excuse myself as I hand an appointment with careers to finish of sending my Ucas application for university, however I can not speak for my other two group members absence. I believe he managed this solo task very well and was not deterred from the fact he had to edit all alone. I'd say my pay back for his efforts would be me getting our group 5 extra bloggs on the previous Thursday double lesson as we where behind as a group.
In the Media work shop he continued the editing process . On Thursday we decided on the footage we would implement in our music video, Ben used images that were on the timeline which included the 6 base tracks of his as Masta B, He added markers (shown in red Below) to the timeline in time with the track on the first beat of every bar.
Ben then inserted al the markers, after doing so he then chopped all of the clips on the timeline which were placed in time with each marker to make it easy to cut between shots. This was done by deleting sections of the clip in time with the track.
We decided to use 6-10 shots of the artist on Thursday lesson for a section of our music piece which is performed by Ben and also have around 30-40 shots of my character in his paranormal state of mind.
The two screensots below are taken by Ben I believe that they are shots which will be linked in the final edited rough cut.
Hopefully on Monday as a complete group we can excel on Bens efforts and manage to complete the rough cut as well as possible giving us roughly 5 more days till the deadline, thankfully we are all going to be available at every lunch time workshop, after school workshop and media lessons to complete the final piece.
