Some Digipak work which will influence my own, there all from urban artists. all these are front panel shots of the Digipaks of the artists. The artists are predominately Hip-hop genre based musicians however others are techno/Dubstep musicians. They all have either a visual image of the artist at the front, with graphic designs on the outskirts of the panels, basic shot of the artist and some of the image of the artist edited with effects example desaturated to make it seem black and white. Others have Graphics designs all over the front panel with out any site of the artist. Finally there is a segment of these Digipak selection i chose that has references to a hip-hop urban feel, either it be a Mic, jewellery, dress sense and ultimately a reference to buildings: city, borough, location.

I'd like to use an Arial font when creating my Digipak, this would mainly be for my track-listing, acknowledgements and any other necessary details needed.


My Title would be more of a bold, stencil type font of the artist and title of album as shown Below in my mock up of my Artists Advertisement 'Masta B'

Before I'm allowed to start producing a real ancillary product, I must put together a mock plan. This will involve placing text, images and colour onto an appropriate template using old fashioned methods (Glue, tape and scissors) Get some feedback from other people in the class about how the effective ancillary products are as part of promotional package for the release of your music video.


When I'm happy with the mock-ups i will take a digital photo of both the Digipak and advertisement and place them on my blog. When my teacher (Dan and Rebecca) are happy with my mock up Iwill be allowed to start making the real thing.

Today was the A2 media Music video screening at screen on the green

Today we got to experience the excitement of being in a cinema, much like last years outgoing however there seemed to be a higher expectation and sense of enjoyment as most of the work viewed was at a higher standard than last years thrillers and we showed (group 25and other as groups) a better development of creative skills.


In all it was a successful day and I'm extremely proud with the final piece, considering the arguments and setbacks we had my group worked hard and did our self proud.
